today i miss the mountains so much i am on the verge of tears. there is nothing i want more right now than to escape over monarch pass.

that is so ironic. it's been in the 60's and 70's here all week, and today is finally cloudy--really cloudy--with flakes just starting to fall, and i am so happy. . . for winter.
